The following should be observed in submitting a photograph as an email attachment to use for the most favorable digital painting:
- Select a sharp, well lit picture.
- 1.5 to 2 meg images in JPEG or TIFF format are a good size.
- Portraits need to be fairly close shots without very dark shadows.
- Make sure eyes and important features show well.
- Make sure the subject does not blend into a dark background.
- If you are shooting a photo, take many pictures at different angles. We will select the best for use.
- If in doubt, visit the photo department of a local store. Ask them to scan your photo at 300 DPI and save it as a high quality JPEG.
Once you are ready, save your pet’s photograph into a JPEG format and send it as an email attachment with your name, address and phone number.
Or, if you do not have a computer to send the photograph or choose to send it by mail, do so and we will use your mailed photograph to produce a beautiful portrait of your pet. Address the envelope to Pets To Paint, 6924 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32792-7003.
You can make your payment for your painting(s) online through our products and pricing page and quote your invoice number in the email to us. Or, if sending by mail, simply send a check for the correct amount plus $10.00 for shipping and handling.
We will provide a painting of your pet within one week.
